Keefer Bros.® was established in 1928 at Beaumaris, Victoria. Brothers, Trevor and Colin Keefer initially started the company as Press Tool makers and General Engineers. Among the early product range was the well known brand name of “ZAC” automotive switches. This was soon expanded into the manufacturing of various valves, nipples, and unions.
We have a wide range of engineering machinery ranging from hand operated drill presses to the latest CNC lathes, like our new Miyano BNJ 42S. With driven tools and traversable rear spindle giving X and Z axis, this enables simultaneous front, rear and side complex machining operations for materials up to 42mØ x 200mm.
Our Multispindle turning centres, with material capacity of up to 25mmØ x 100mm, have a large volume output which ensures rapid production times combined with high accuracy to within 0.05mm. We have the facilities for tube cutting, bending and swaging, induction brazing, and soldering. In addition, sub-assemblies can be manufactured and fabricated to precise customer requirements from a wide range of materials.
